Rocket League Replay File Location & Tips

Objective

A step-by-step guide for Rocket League players on where to find their replay files on PC, and useful tips for managing and using these replays.

How to Find Your Rocket League Replays on PC

  1. Open File Explorer
  2. Navigate through the following folders:
    • Documents
    • My Games
    • Rocket League
    • TAGame
    • Demos
  3. Your replay files are located in the Demos folder.
    • The files have the .replay extension.
    • The files are automatically named by date and time.

Managing Your Replays

  • Renaming Files:
You can rename the replay files for easier identification, but do not change the file extension.
  • File Size:
Replay files are small, so you can save many of them without using much storage.
  • Sharing:
You can share replay files via Discord, Google Drive, or other file sharing platforms.

Important Notes

  • Replays Are Not Videos:
Replays store match data, not actual video footage.
  • Recording Replays:
To create video content, use software like OBS or another screen recorder to record your replay while watching it in-game.
  • Version Compatibility:
Replays may not be compatible between different versions or platforms of Rocket League. Use the same game version for viewing.
