How to Stop or Cancel Recordings on Dish Network

This guide explains how to stop currently recording shows or cancel scheduled recordings on your Dish Network DVR.

Stopping a Currently Recording Show

1. Press the DVR button on your remote.
2. Go to My Recordings or Currently Recording.
3. Select the show that is currently being recorded.
4. Press the Stop or Cancel Recording option.
5. Confirm if prompted.
6. The recording will stop immediately.
