Tutorial Notes: How to Change the Brightness on AOC Monitor

Objective

Quick guide on adjusting the brightness of your AOC monitor using onboard controls.

Steps

1. Locate the Buttons

   • Found on the bottom bezel or back right side of the monitor.

2. Open the OSD (Onscreen Display) Menu

   • Press the Menu button.

3. Navigate the Menu

   • Use arrow buttons to scroll.
   • Look for options labeled:
     • Luminance
     • Brightness
     • Picture Settings (varies by model)

4. Adjust Brightness

   • Once on the Brightness setting, press the Okay or Menu button.
   • Use arrows to increase or decrease brightness as needed.

5. Save & Exit

   • Press the Menu or Exit button to close the OSD.
   • Changes are saved automatically.

Troubleshooting

• If brightness adjustment is unavailable (grayed out):
  • Ensure you are not using HDMI dynamic contrast mode or ECO preset.
  • Switch to Custom mode if necessary to enable manual adjustment.
