How to Find Wi-Fi Password on Windows 11

Methods

There are two ways to find the Wi-Fi password on Windows 11:

1. Using Control Panel
2. Using PowerShell or Command Prompt

Method 1: Control Panel

1. Open the Start Menu and search for Control Panel.
2. Navigate to Network and Internet.
3. Access Network and Sharing Center.
4. Click on Change adapter settings.
5. Double-click the active connection.
6. Click the Wireless Properties button.
7. Go to Security tab.
8. Reveal the password under the Network Security Key option by checking the box.
9. To export, select the password, right-click, and select the Copy option to paste it elsewhere.

Method 2: PowerShell or Command Prompt

1. Open the Start Menu and search for Terminal.
2. Right-click to select Run as Administrator.
3. Run the command to view all profiles saved on your computer.
4. To reveal the password for a specific profile, use the appropriate command and change it to the profile's name.
5. The Wi-Fi password will be shown under Key Content.
