Accessing Task Scheduler

Windows + S
.
Type "task scheduler" and select it from the search results.
Exploring Scheduled Tasks
Task Scheduler hosts a library of tasks that manage automatic processes on your PC.
Left Panel:
Expand the Task Scheduler library to view scheduled tasks.
These tasks could be related to third-party apps or Windows services.
Folders:
Be cautious with folders named "Microsoft" as they may contain essential tasks for system functionality.
Managing Startup Tasks
Disable Startup Tasks:
Select a task suspected of causing performance issues.
Check the "Trigger" tab below for startup or log-on settings.
Right-click the task and select "Disable" if it's non-critical.
Delete Tasks:
If sure a task is not needed, right-click and choose "Delete".
This action is permanent; only delete tasks that are safe to remove.
Adding Programs to Startup
Create a New Task:
Click "Create Task" on the right side.
In the "General" tab, assign a name and select security options.
In the "Trigger" tab, set it to run at startup or log-on.
