Steps

1. Download the Xiaomi Home App

   • Go to the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android).
   • Search for and download the Xiaomi Home app.
   • Install and open the app.

2. Initial App Setup

   • Accept the terms: Tap "Agree" twice.
   • Select your country or region (make sure it matches your current location).
   • Create a Xiaomi account or log in if you already have one.
   • If registering, check your email and enter the verification code.

3. Prepare the Camera

   • Plug in the Xiaomi Smart Camera C700 using the included cable.
   • Wait a few seconds for the camera to power up.

4. Add the Camera to the App

   • In the Xiaomi Home app, tap the "+" icon (top right corner).
   • Select "Add Device" and grant location access if prompted.
   • Tap the search icon and type "C700".
   • When the C700 smart camera appears, tap it to start setup.

5. Reset the Camera

   • Press and hold the reset button on the camera for 7 seconds (light should blink orange).
   • Tap "Device Reset" in the app.

6. Connect to Wi-Fi

   • Enter your Wi-Fi password (Must be a 2.4 GHz network; 5 GHz not supported).
   • The app will send connection information to the camera.
   • Listen for a confirmation voice and watch for the LED light to turn solid blue or white (depending on model).

7. Finish Setup

   • Once connected, you can:
     • View live feed
     • Adjust settings
     • Set alerts
     • Control the camera from your phone
