Step-by-step instructions to pair the Meter Plus Smart Meat Thermometer with your smartphone.

Steps

1. Download the App

   • Go to the App Store or Google Play Store.
   • Search for and download the “Meter Smart Meat Thermometer” app.

2. Set Up the App

   • Open the app after installation.
   • If you don’t have an account, create a new one.

3. Select Your Device

   • The app will ask which meter product you have (e.g., one probe, two probes, etc.).
   • Select “one probe” (or the appropriate option for your device).

4. Start Pairing

   • Select “meter plus.”
   • Tap “yes” and agree to the terms to continue.

5. Review Sensor Info

   • You will see information about temperature sensors.
   • Tap “continue.”

6. Prepare the Charging Base

   • Remove the back cover of the charger.
   • Take out the plastic battery tab to power it on.
   • Tap “continue” in the app.

7. Charge the Probe

   • Place the probe into the charging base.
   • Leave it charging for 2 hours before the first use.
   • Tap “continue” in the app.

8. Allow Permissions

   • The app will request access to your location (needed for Bluetooth).
   • Allow location access.
   • Optionally, choose whether or not to enable notifications.

9. Remove Probe and Connect

   • Remove the probe from the charger.
   • Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.
   • Wait a few seconds for the app to detect the probe.

10. Confirm Connection

    • A green light will indicate successful pairing.
