This guide explains how to disable the 'Create Event' popup that appears in Excel after copying a date.

Steps to Disable the Popup

  1. Open Settings:

    • Click on the Start menu.
    • Select 'Settings.'
  2. Navigate to System Settings:

    • Go to 'System' settings.
    • Scroll down to find 'Clipboard.'
  3. Disable Suggested Actions:

    • Locate 'Suggested Actions.'
    • Turn the toggle off.

Testing the Change

  • Return to Excel.
  • Copy a date using Ctrl + C or right-click and select 'Copy.'
  • The 'Create Event' popup should no longer appear.

Important Note

  • This change disables the feature across all Office applications, including Word and Outlook.
  • To re-enable the feature, follow the same steps and turn the toggle back on.
