How to Add Songs to Spotify

Follow this step-by-step guide to add your own songs to Spotify.

Steps to Add Songs

1. Prepare the Song File

   • Make sure you have the sound or song file saved on your computer.

2. Create a Folder

   • Right-click on your desktop or in File Explorer.
   • Hover over 'New' and select 'Folder' to create a new folder.
   • Place the song file into this folder. Add any other songs you wish to include.

3. Configure Spotify Settings

   • Open Spotify.
   • Click on your profile icon in the top right corner.
   • Select 'Settings' from the dropdown menu.

4. Enable Local Files

   • Scroll down to the 'Your Library' section in settings.
   • Switch on the option 'Show Local Files'.

5. Add a Source

   • Click on 'Add a source'.
   • Locate and select the folder you created earlier.
   • Press 'OK' to confirm.

Access and Use

• Go to the left panel under 'Your Library', and you’ll see ‘Local Files’.
• Your added songs will appear there.
• You can play them directly or right-click to add them to a playlist of your choice.
